Women's Empowerment of the Ta'lim Council through Traditional Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Business Opportunities at the Ummul Khaerat Islamic Boarding School, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

Abstract

Community service aims to help Silae Village, Ulujadi Kabonene District, Palu City, especially the community and village officials in synergizing to develop the village economy through the empowerment of women business businesses to be consumed as a health product called "Virgin Coconut Oil" in the trade sector, this is one of the most effective sectors for increasing family economic income. The service activity is carried out for 1 day and the target of completion from the preparation of the activity to the report takes 2 months, namely from July to August of the year proposed in the competitive service scheme.through the DIPA of the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University. The output target of this service activity can be published in national journals, the results of VCO oil can be used for the treatment of itching, itching, infections, and cough medicine and being exposed to viruses can be cured of the disease. Through the soft skills pathway for education and skills in making VCOs, efforts to increase family economic income in rural areas.
