The Community Service (PkM) activity which was carried out for six months aimed to design and implement an Arduino-based shaking table learning media at SMPN 80 Jakarta to overcome abstract earthquake mitigation learning. Through the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach integrated with Project-Based Learning (PjBL), students are invited to observe the response of the structure directly. Cognitive evaluation of 37 students showed an average pre-test of 98.38 and post-test of 98.92 (ceiling effect), which justified the shift of assessment to the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework that emphasizes the psychomotor domain. The results of the mock-up physical test by 12 groups proved the success of the transfer of structural engineering skills. The most optimal design is able to maintain the stability of the center of gravity at a height of 51 cm with a mass of 350 grams to dampen resonance. This prototype successfully transformed textual memorization into real engineering problem-solving skills.
