Abstract

This service aims to improve the quality of radiology services through the socialization of soft skills for human resources at the Radiology Installation of RSI Siti Rahmah Padang. The main problem identified was the lack of optimization of interpersonal communication and the empathy of the officers towards patients, which was based on the findings of previous research at Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital on the relationship between effective communication and patient satisfaction. The implementation method consists of three stages: problem identification, training (interactive lectures, role-play, case discussions), and evaluation. The activity was attended by 11 participants (10 radiographers and 1 administrative officer). The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of soft skills from 41% to 88% based on pre-test and post-test. The implication of this devotion is the creation of a work culture that is more humane and oriented towards patient safety.
